The COLOR WOW Dream Cocktail Carb-Infused is a heat-activated leave-in treatment from the Dream Cocktail series. Each variant in this series targets a specific concern; the Carb variant is specially formulated for fine, thin hair lacking volume and substance. The name reflects the active principle: ‘Carbs’ here refers to carbohydrates. Modified cornstarch and oat-derived beta-glucan coat each hair fibre during blow-drying, measurably thickening it. The result is increased fullness and hold—not by fluffing, but because each strand actually gains diameter.This effect is enhanced by hydrolysed quinoa protein and hydrolysed keratin, which structurally reinforce the hair fibre, along with Polyquaternium-4 and Polyquaternium-11, which provide light hold and texture without causing stickiness.To keep hair supple despite the thickening agents, the formula includes glycerin, panthenol and PEG-12 dimethicone. Silicone Quaternium-18 also delivers heat protection during blow-drying—a practical addition, since the treatment requires a blow-dry step anyway.Apply the product to towel-dried hair and distribute it evenly through lengths and ends using your hands; for maximum volume, work it into the roots as well, lifting the hair as you go.
